ABOUT ME
I am a mother, a wife, and a woman who desires to create better care surrounding women’s health.
Since my husband and I met in 2016, we have known that we wanted a family, but for us it would look a little different. Since then, we have gone through multiple rounds of IVF, procedures, surgeries, and had our miracle babies! Going through infertility gave me a new perception on birth and women’s care. I noticed that there was a gap of care and education that women and families were missing in this special time. My passion was created during one of the hardest times in our life. Struggling with infertility and not having a sense of community or help was something I hope that no other women or family has to go through alone again. Once we were pregnant, I knew I wanted to do everything in my power to make it a positive experience. So, we hired a local doula!
Delivering my first child was something I will cherish forever. It opened my eyes to how something so small like hiring a doula can make such a big difference.
There is a gap in care between providers and patients, and that is what I am striving to change. Families deserve to feel supported, educated, and empowered in their journey. No matter what that looks like.
So that is why I decided to become a doula. I am hoping to make women’s health and pregnancy more of a priority in our area. Not just for women now but for future generations to come.
So far I have served clients from Erie and Albion to Dunkirk, Jamestown, Buffalo, and Clymer.
